Burlington County, NJ Real Estate
Finca Realty is a bilingual brokerage licensed in New Jersey. We work the Burlington County towns that sit closest to our Mercer County base — the Route 130 and River Line corridor, the Bordentown and Florence line, and the county center around Mount Holly and Willingboro.
Burlington County is the next street over
Most of our clients start out looking in Mercer County. Then the search widens — because the same money buys something different once you cross the county line, and because Burlington County is a short drive, not a move away.
We have closed transactions in Burlington County, and we handle it the same way we handle Trenton or Hamilton: one broker consultation first, a written brokerage agreement, everything in the file. What changes across the line is the tax rate, the school district, and the price per square foot — not the process.
- Bordentown and Florence are 10 to 20 minutes from Hamilton. Buyers priced out of Mercer look here first.
- Burlington City, Riverside and Palmyra have the county’s lowest entry prices and its highest share of Spanish-speaking households.
- Willingboro is the largest municipality on this list and holds one of the highest homeownership rates in the county.
- Mount Holly is the county seat — where Burlington County Superior Court and foreclosure matters are handled.
One light rail line ties Trenton to half this county
NJ Transit’s River Line runs from Trenton Transit Center to Camden in roughly 58 minutes end to end. Between those two points it stops in Bordentown, Florence Township (Roebling), Burlington City, Riverside, Cinnaminson and Palmyra.
That matters more than it sounds. A buyer who works in Trenton and cannot afford Hamilton can buy in Burlington City or Riverside — median home values there run roughly $115,000 and $132,000 below the county median — and still get to work without a second car. For a household budgeting on one income, that is often the whole difference between renting and owning.

Sorted by how many homes actually changed hands, because market size tells you more than any single price. Cinnaminson was the fastest at 12 days; Chesterfield the slowest at 100.

Every municipality we work in Burlington County is listed — there are no gaps in this table.
If you are behind on payments in Burlington County
New Jersey foreclosures move through the Superior Court, and Burlington County matters are handled at the county seat in Mount Holly. That process takes time, and time is the one thing that gives a homeowner options.
Our broker of record spent two years at a Philadelphia housing nonprofit — first as a HUD-certified housing counselor, then as its Housing Services Manager — while running this brokerage. That background shapes how we handle these calls: we walk through what the numbers actually look like — what is owed, what the property is worth, what a sale would net — before anyone talks about listing anything. Sometimes selling is the answer. Sometimes it is not, and we say so.
Two languages, one file — not a translated brochure
Across Burlington County, 14.5% of residents speak a language other than English at home and 11.0% are foreign born. In the towns we cover those numbers run much higher: 29.7% in Riverside, 29.2% in Bordentown Township, 18.3% in Willingboro.
Every one of our agents works in both English and Spanish. That means the consultation, the contract explanation, the inspection walkthrough and the closing questions all happen in whichever language you actually think in — not through a relative translating on speakerphone. We also work regularly with buyers using an ITIN rather than a Social Security number.
What buyers and sellers ask us about Burlington County
Are you licensed to work in Burlington County?
Yes. A New Jersey real estate license is statewide — it is not issued per county. Finca Realty is licensed in New Jersey and we have closed transactions in Burlington County.
Is it cheaper to buy in Burlington County than in Mercer County?
It depends entirely on the town. Riverside, Burlington City, Palmyra and Pemberton all sit well below the Burlington County median home value of $354,000. Cinnaminson, Mansfield and Lumberton sit well above it. There is no single Burlington County price, which is why we publish the town-by-town table above instead of a county average.
Can I get to Trenton or Philadelphia without a car?
From the River Line towns, yes. The line runs Trenton to Camden with stops in Bordentown, Florence Township, Burlington City, Riverside, Cinnaminson and Palmyra, and connects at Camden for the Philadelphia side. From the inland towns — Willingboro, Mount Holly, Pemberton — you will want a car.
Do you work with first-time buyers here?
Yes, and it is most of what we do. Every buyer starts with an initial consultation with our broker of record before we start showing property, so you know your numbers, your loan options and your actual budget before you fall in love with a house.
Do you list and sell in Burlington County, or only represent buyers?
Both. Listing a home in Burlington County works the same as anywhere else in New Jersey: a written listing agreement, MLS exposure, and a pricing conversation grounded in what comparable homes in that specific municipality have actually sold for.
